ABOUT OUR PROGRAM
At Driveway Jr., we are committed to creating a nurturing, safe, and welcoming space for young children, infant to PreK-5. Our mission is to introduce them to the love of Jesus in a way that is age-appropriate, engaging, and full of joy.
Through stories, songs, hands-on activities, and play, we lay a foundation of faith that helps children understand that God loves them unconditionally. Our environment is one where children feel safe to explore, ask questions, and discover the heart of Jesus in a way that is personal and meaningful to them.
We believe that every child is a precious gift from God, and we take great care to foster an atmosphere of love, kindness, and respect. Whether it’s their first introduction to God’s love or they’re building on what they’ve already learned, Driveway Jr. is here to support their spiritual growth, help them develop a strong sense of belonging, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
The Curriculum we use is built around 3 Basic Truths:
- God Loves Me.
- Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
- God made me.

WHAT'S GOING ON
Promotion Sunday | Blessing of the Backpacks
Sunday, August 10 at all morning services
Children ages 0 through Pre-K5 (in our Driveway Junior classes) will promote in their regular Sunday School rooms and enjoy a sweet lesson and fun craft to mark the milestone.
As a new school year begins, we invite your family to be part of a special morning designed to encourage and celebrate your children. All K–6th grade kids are invited to bring their backpacks to worship for a Blessing of the Backpacks—a meaningful moment to pray over them and the year ahead.
This day also marks Promotion Sunday, when children move up to their next grade level in our children’s ministry programs. Here’s where to meet, based on the service you attend:
- 8:15 & 11:15am Traditional Services – Meet in the Narthex
- 9:45am Contemporary Service – Meet in the Memorial Garden
- 11:15am Contemporary Service – Meet in the Highway Lobby
MOTHER'S ROOM
Our new Mother’s Room is located in the back of the Sanctuary. We pray this space will be a safe and comfortable place for mothers to care for their babies during service. Mothers- we love and appreciate you! 💕
